Heart Scan

A coronary artery calcium CT scan can detect and measure calcified plaque in the arteries supplying the heart.

Through Hale, members can arrange a scan at one of more than 1,000 participating imaging centers. Hale coordinates the necessary clinical order through independent clinical partners, so customers do not need to obtain their own referral.

Scan time: Less than 15 minutes at participating centers
Results: Generally available in the Hale dashboard within a few days
Includes: Clinical order, scan, physician-reviewed results, clear interpretation and personalized prevention plan

Hale’s Advanced Heart Labs measure cardiovascular biomarkers that can add important context to traditional cholesterol testing, including ApoB and lipoprotein(a).

Testing can be completed at one of more than 5,000 partner laboratory locations or from home using Hale’s needle-free Homedraw device.

Markers and tests include: Lp(a), ApoB, ApoA, LDL, HDL, triglycerides, VLDL, Homocysteine, hs-CRP, Comprehensive Metabolic Panel, Hemoglobin A1c and Lipid Panel Standard, among others.
